  Awesome parish! Fr Pat is inspirational and friendly. Best cry-room ANYWHERE. My daughter was able to have a breakdown and it didn't bother anyone! Parking is a bit tight, but worst case is a one block walk from the Catholic school you pass on the way in. If you want traditional, hit the Basilica, if you want family, St Eugene's is the place to go!

  Beautiful Church service & Community; Good Catholic Church for anyone traveling to Asheville.

  We attended Mass at this Church while visiting Asheville. The Mass was very spiritual and moving. Everything was done in a very religious and respectful manner.
  
  There was no loud chatting in the Church before Mass. The Pastor, Father Ed Sheridan, is friendly and an excellent speaker. . The Priest's teaching before each readings were instructive and on point. The homily was intelligent, focused, and brief. The Eucharistic Ministers publicly rubbed their hands with alcohol before distributing Communion for the safety of all.
  
  The Church has real pews with kneelers. It also has an elevator from the street for those who need such assistance.
  
  In summary, as a visitor I can only wish that my home Church in Florida was as spiritually satisfying.
