  Oakley UMC is not a place for Christians. It does not believe tin the Bible and doesn't really care for anyone that does. I would only go here if you are not looking for a place to worship Christ.

  I cannot speak to what may have happened to the other reviewer 5 years ago, but as Oakley United Methodist's current pastor - I can assure you that the people of this church do believe in the Bible and that every one of my messages is based on Scripture. I can also assure you that the people of this church are some of the most loving and accepting Christians I have ever encountered. Don't let one person's experience deter you from experiencing the best little church in Asheville for yourself.
